Boy oh boy, is Mommy a sucker for boxer hugs. All me has to do to get what me wants is to snuggle up to her and give her some really good boxer hugs.....then me springs tha trap!!!!

Tonight me was doing just that. Me got up on her lap (all 115#'s of me) and laid me big ole head on her and just loved on her and loved on her. THEN when me had her all loved up on, me sprung tha trap!!! See me and Bugs E Doodle esq wanted to go for a ride. Me got off of Mommy and started prancing around and barking. Arf! Arf! Arf! me said and Mommy knew her was had. Her knew we wanted to go for a ride so her sucked it up and took us for a ride. We loves to hang our heads out of tha window and have tha wind blowing our ears back. And tha smells....humans have no idea what them is missing but not having a sense of smell like us dogs. We can tell all kinds of things just by the smells in tha air.

Now here is tha thing, her thinks her is fooling us by only taking us around the block. Nah.........we knows exactly what her is doing and we don't care. We is just happy to go for a ride, even if it is a short ride. Me is ready to go get in me little bed and take a nap.

Left alone

Mommy and Daddy went away for tha weekend with thems friends and didn't take us. Me and Bugs was left alone all weekend, from Friday afternoon til Sunday afternoon. Well okay we wasn't quite left all alone. Auntie Julia and Uncle Mike and thems boy Nick came to stay with us.

It's fun to have Auntie Julia and Uncle Mike come stay with us cause even though thems knows tha rules for us dogs but we can fool them and get away with stuff. Bugs really, really had a good time cause hims was playing with Nick tha whole time. Bugs really liked having a human boy to play with. Me, well me thought it was fun too but me was more content sitting in tha living room on tha couch looking out tha window. Me likes to watch tha world from there and watch for Mommy and Daddy to come home.

Me also has a Simon update. That stinkin ole kitty is getting really brave. Hims comes out of hims room and wanders around upstairs all of the times. When hims hears us coming hims don't run like before. Hims goes to hims gate and sits there for a few seconds to see if we is coming. Then hims calmly goes under tha gate and into hims room and looks at us. Hims don't even run and hide anymore when Bugs charges tha gate. You know what me thinks? Me thinks that darn ole kitty is getting over being afraid of us.

It's almost me brifday!!!

We is days away from me being 3 years old and that means me is a mature adult dog. This is a good thing and a bad thing. Me can't use the excuse of being a puppy any more and that's a bad thing. The good thing is me has turned into quite the handsome fellow. Me knows this is true cause Mommy is always telling me how handsome me is. BUT the very bestest thing of all is me gets to have cheeseburgers for me birfday dinner and to finish it off me gets to have a cup of banilla custard. WOOF WOOF WOOF!!!

Now here's the question and it's a berry berry important question, does me get to have the same number of cheesburgers as me is old??? That would mean 3, count them 3 cheese burgers and that would be a berry good thing. Of course Bugs couldn't have that many cause hims is still a baby and that would maybe upset hims tummy not to mention it wouldn't be fair for hims to have as many as me.

It's still here!

That darn cat is still here!!!! We still hasn't been able to get close enough to sniff it or lick it either.

Mommy brought Simon down one evening and put hims in Bugs crate and locked tha door. Hers thought if we could all get a good look at each other and sniff each other that we would be friends. That didn't happen. What did happen was this. Me and Bugs was waggin our nubbins and barking hellos to Simon and what did that stinkin kitty do?? Hims was hissing and growling at us that's what hims was doing. Now me don't know what you think but personally this little boxer don't think that was very friendly of Simon at all. After all hims was in Bugs crate, stinkin it up with kitty smell. Well this just didn't make me and Bugs berry happy so we tried to get into tha crate so we could have a close up and personal dog to kitty type conversation. That didn't sit to well with Mommy and hers went and putted our electronic collars on us to make us behave. This worked for Bugs but not me so Mommy put me in me crate right next to stinky Simon. HUGE HUGE mistake!!! Me was lunging and jumping in my crate to get into the crate with Simon so Mommy had to seperate the crates. Finally things settled down a little bit. Me was laying in me crate sulking, Bugs was laying outside hims crate sulking and Simon was inside Bugs crate sulking and growling really low. Mommy said all in all it was a dog and kitty show that wasn't working real well. Her said the next time she would try this with just one dog at a time. Good luck is all me can say.

Me almost forgot!! With telling this tail it slipped me boxer mind. We did have some sadness in our house this week too. On Wednesday Daddy had to take Smoke, hims 18 year old kitty, to be put to sleep. Smoke was Diamond Lil's brother and now hims had crossed over the bridge to be with her and Miss Pitty Pat. Me bets them was waiting for him when he got there at least that's what Mommy says. Now he would let us sniff him when he was sitting in Daddy's lap cause hims was to old to run from us.

This is to much!!!

Look what we has been banished to! Me and Bugs has been banished behind bars. Look how pitiful Bugs looks with hims little head stuck under tha gate and look how sad me looks just sitting there with them big brown eyes. All we want to do is sniff that ole Simon but this how we is treated. And what's Simon doing while we is looking so mistreated?? Hims is sittin on the dresser looking at us. This is him peering around the corner at us.

Sure hims looks all sweet and innocence but hims not.

And tha worsest part is ole Simon is livin it up on this big ole bed like hims was king of tha world. This just don't seem very fair to us. We can't even get on tha bed and this kitty has only been here a few days and hims has hims own bedroom with a big ole bed. Me and Bugs has to share our bedroom with Mommy and Daddy but not Simon. Simon says because hims is so beautiful, hims should have hims own room.

To add insult to injury that ole Simon went into our bedroom and tried out our beds!!! He got kitty stink all in my bed. Look at how comfy hims is in me bed. This is not fair me tells you!

He didn't get into Bugs but he sniffed it and that's just as bad cause it still puts kitty stink on tha bed.

If this continues me and Bugs has decided to take matters into our own paws. We aint sure what we is going to do yet but we is smart puppies and we will figger it out.

It's been two days and we still haven't gotten close to that ole Simon kitty. We have gotten to see him through tha baby gate and everytime we do that silly kitty hisses at me and Bugs and runs under tha bed. Me don't think this is really very friendly of him, what do you think? Me thinks that if this darn ole kitty wants to be part of this family then hims needs to come out from under tha bed and let me and Bugs sniff him all over. How else is we going to get to know each other? Me don't know how cats get to know each other but we dogs need to sniff butts, even if thems is cat butts, so we know who we is dealing with.

Mommy is still sleeping with Simon too!!! What about us? What about me, her loyal boxer puppy, and Bugs? We would sleep in tha bed with her if hers would let us but no we has to sleep in our baskets while that ole kitty gets so snuggle up to our Mommy. This just don't seem fair at all. And to make matters worse, hers closes the door on us and won't let us into tha bedroom with her. What's a puppy to do?

What's a dog to do??

Me and Bug's life has just been turned upside down since last night!!! Last night Mommy replaced me and Bug's with a stinkin ole kitty! Can you believe it? No.....well we couldn't either. Hims is a 6 month old Siamese mix kitty. An to make things worse we can't even get close to the thing cause it hisses and spits and growls everytime we do. This ole cat aint nothin like Miss Pitty Pat was. Hers was a sweet kitty who liked to play with me. Mommy says we has to be nice cause hims is part of tha pack now. That's right another boy and just look at him sittin there on me and the Doodle Bugs couch all smug.

The worstest thing is that Mommy took this ole cat into tha spare bedroom last night and shut us out while hims got to sleep with her. Yep, hers is letting Simmon, that's hims name(Me can just hear it now, Simon says this and Simon says that, who cares what Simon says), sleeps with her. This is not fair at all!!! Me and Bugs don't get to sleep on tha bed with her. We has to sleep in our baskets on tha floor. What make this ole Simmon kitty thinks him is so special? We isn't sure we is happy about this.

Hims gets to walk and sit on the counter in her bathroom. Me and Bugs don't get to that. It don't make no difference that me and Bugs is way bigger than Simon, it's still not fair. Okay sure hims is cute and cuddley but so is us. Notice there are no pictures of us?

Our peoples says it will be a few more days before we all can be together. Thems says we has to give Simon (what a silly name) a few days to get use to us dogs. What's there to get use to? And what about us? Don't we need time to get use to a new kitty? Silly ole stinkin cat.

Weather Permitting

This year instead of making any resolutions, or even thinking about making them, Mommy made a promise. Hers promised that hers would take us boys out for a walk every day weather permitted. Hers figured that if hers made a promise hers would be more inclined to keep it. This promise will benefit both of us and Mommy. Mommy would like to lose a ew few before hers goes home to VA for Miss O'livia's graduation and going for walks will help. Us boys get the exercise we need too, especially me. Me vet seems to think me is "fat" and needs to loose 10#. Personally me thinks hers is nuts. Me has the shape of a bull dog which is what me is part, American Bulldog that is. Me guesses me will humor tha vet.

Mommy made taking us dogs for a walk easier by buying a dual leash coupler. Hers said trying to walk both of us on two seperate leashes was not an easy thing to do. Me walks right by Mommy's side but that Bugs, being the inquisitive boy that he is, tired to pull Mommy all over the place so he could splore. She couldn't take just one of us boys without the other so hers didn't take either of us. With the coupler and a shorter leash, the we is less inclined to pulling Mommy and it seems to be helping Bugs to be teethered next to me. Only problem is that Bugs likes to go from one side of me to tha other. Hims can't make up hims mind which side to be on and that means tha leash gets hung up on me nubbin.

So far we've gone every day of this new year and we is looking forward to it as a new treat when Mommy comes home from work. Only thing, weather wasn't permitting tonight cause it snowed again. Me and Bugs was up for tha adventure but Mommy didn't want to go walking in tha snow.

Visit to tha Vet

Mommy had to take me to the vet on Friday cause me had another spot on me forehead that was turning into something nasty. When me was just a little fellow of 4 months, me had a spot come up on me forehead just like this one and by the time Mommy realized it was a problem the spot had developed into an oozing sore. This time Mommy, cause hers is a really good Mommy, recognized what it was and got me to tha vet right away.

The last time me was at the vet me was not such a good boy and had scared the new lady vet. It wasn't really me fault cause hers backed me into the corner to try and look in me mouth. Me didn't really care for that and grumbled at her to let her know. Me guesses that when big boys like me grumble at peoples it scares them cause that lady vet sure did jump back and Mommy fussed at me. This time was different.

This time it was tha same lady vet, her didn't remember the incident thank goodness, and Mommy told her me was very excited and anxious and that when me gets like that, particularly in tight spaces, me can get a bit grumpy and nippy. The lady vet was glad Mommy told her this and told Mommy that us bigger dogs can get like that in tight spaces. Since this seemed like the right thing to do, the lady vet tooked me into tha back where there was lots of room for me to move around in and that's where hers looked at me head. Me was such a good boy too! Hers looked at me head, into me mouth at me teeth, listened to me heart and lungs, looked in me ears, checked me eyes and me was the perfect gentleman tha whole time. Of course it helped that hers was bribing me with treats.

Hers brought me back and said Mommy was right it was the same as when me was a puppy and gave Mommy some pills for me to take for tha next two weeks and if thems worked her would give Mommy another weeks worth for me to take. GUESS WHAT!!! THEMS WORKED!!! On Saturday morning Mommy noticed the spot on me forehead wasn't as red looking, by yesterday morning it was just pink and this morning it's back to normal flesh colored. Yippee!!!!! Me is way to handsome a fellow to have scars lefted on me forehead from sores. Mommy says me has to finish me pills but that's okay cause hers puts them in pieces of hot dog (hers thinks hers hiding them from me) and pops them in me mouth. Bugs likes it too cause when Mommy throws me a piece of hot dog she also throws one to him too.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!

We is having a white Christmas. There was only supposed to be snow flurries and we has about 4 inches on the ground and more falling. Me and Bugs has been outside playing in it.

Santa broughted us another wicker dog bed so now we both has one and this is a really good thing. Me got tired of having to think up new ways to trick Bugs and get hims out of tha dog bed. Life is good!

The house is changing!!

This has been tha most amazing week in tha lives of me and Bugs. Last weekend Mommy and Daddy had all of tha furnitures moved out of tha living room and dining room. Me and Bugs thought this was just tha greatest thing in tha world. It looked like Mommy and Daddy had finally decided we needed a big indoor play area cause we had all of tha room in tha world to play in them two rooms and boy did we play.

Then on Monday this strange man came to that house and hims was going to take out tha carpet and put in new floors. Daddy had us in our gated community rooms so we wouldn't bother tha man and hims also had tha man pet us so hims would see we wasn't nothing to be scare of and then Daddy lefted to go to work. Everything was fine until this strange man started making this funny thwacking noise and me didn't like it one little bit. Me disliked it so much me was jumping up on tha gate and barking at tha man. Of course hims got scared and called Daddy away from earning tha dog food to come home. Daddy called Mommy and told her hims was going to lock us outside in tha back yard. Mommy was concerned that we would be unhappy and try to get out of tha back yard so hers came home to be with us.

By tha end of tha day we had a whole new floor to play on. This was tha bestest floor cause me and Bugs could slide all over tha place. We really liked this new floor and thought it was going to stay like this without no furniture to clutter up our new play ground but nope it didn't stay that way.

First thing Mommy did was put up tha Christmas tree, cause it's almost Christmas and Santa needs a place to leave me and Bugs' presents. Then our peoples filled it up with furnitures again. Of course after we thougt about it we realized we needed our furniture back so we would have a place to sleep after we was through playing. Mommy says hers is glad she and Daddy could afford to buy us furniture to sleep on and a new floor to play on. We has to admit it does look much better although that new floor sure is hard on us puppies if we tries to lay on it.

We didn't get no kitty

Mommy said it just wasn't meant to be. The little kitty we was going to call KaliLu didn't come to live with us. We isn't sure why, all we know is tha girl who was supposed to be bringing her didn't call Mommy or nothing. So no kitty for us.

Personally me is happy cause that would mean one more critter for me to have to share Mommy with. Don't get me wrong, me loves that ole Bugs a bunch, cept when hims is trying to steal my bone or hog all tha pets. Having a new baby kitty would mean Mommy was occupied with it and teaching it how to be a good house cat first class and that would mean less attention and pets for me.

Our world is about to change!!

Mommy says me and Bugs E Doodle esq is about to have a great big change in our lives. Her says that if everything goes well, tomorrow evening we is going to have a new baby in tha house.

Hers is about to rescue a this little kitty. Hers is only 3 months old (the same age as when hers got me and Daddy got Bugs.) Mommy said this little girl, who is going to be named Miss Kali Lou, and her litter mates and parents was on the thems way to becoming test lab kitties in WY. The girl who rescued the kitty family drove from her home in Fort Collins CO to WY to save this kitty family. Miss Kali Lou has 4 brothers and mommy hopes thems finds good homes. Mommy said her would have take two of them, but hers was afraid it would have been way to much for Smoke.

This will be very interesting cause Bugs don't have no experience with kitties like me has. Sure we have Smoke but hims is 18 years old and says down in tha storage room or Daddy's office and is scared of us. Me had grew up with Miss Pitty Pat but it's been a year since me has had any kitty experiences either so me hopes me remembers how to act with a kitty, especially a little kitty. Me will keep you posted (arf arf arf me made a funny) on how this turns out.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERBODY!!!!!

Me and Bugs hopes everbody is enjoying them some turkey. We don't got no turkey at our house. Nope we is having duck instead of turkey this year. It smells really good too!!! We sure hopes Mommy don't forget to be thankful for us dogs and give us some of that good smelling duck.

Me and Bugs is really thankful today cause we have a really warm house, soft beds and lots of food to eat. We is also thankful for Mommy and Daddy. Thems is the bestest humans in tha world. Bugs is thankful that hims was adopted by them and me is thankful for that too. Monday is Bugs' "Gotcha Day". Hims has been living here with us for a whole year. Remember when Bugs was so little hims could stand underneath of me???


Well hims sure can't do that no more!!! That little puppy has grown and grown. Him and me is tha same size now only me is heavier than Bugs. Mommy's just thankful hims didn't take after the Great Dane side of hims family and get really, really big. Daddy says hims is just an average Dane.

So there are just some of tha things we is thankful for this weekend.

Our Peoples went to TX and left us with a dog sitter!

Yep, the humans tooked off to TX to see Auntie Margaret and Uncle Bob and lefted us at home with dog sitters. This wasn't really to bad cause me and Bugs got to stay in our own house and sleep in our own beds. The bestest part was we had some nice people who stayed with us and tooked berry good care of us. Mike even stayed with us some during tha day so we was hardly lonely at all, but we did miss our peoples a lot. Julia was great cause she was short and down to our level. We could get right in her face and give her kisses. We was good boys though cause thems knew our commands and would use them if we got to unruly. Julia even told Mommy what good boys we was and how well behaved we was. If we has to be lefted behind this is tha way to do it! No kennels or doggie hotels, nope just stay in tha comfort of our own house with all of our things is tha only way to go.

Thems even brought thems dog Sahara over to play with us! Sahara is BEAUTIFUL too!!! Me has decided that Sahara is me girlfriend cause me is the oldest dog and should have a girlfriend. Bugs is still a baby and don't know nothing about girls even though hims tried to steal her attention away for me. Anyway Sahara is an Austrailian Shepard and is marked kinda like Bugs, which is probably why hims thought she would be hims girlfriend. WRONG! The only problem is our sitters only broughted her over to play once and me wanted to see her every day after me met her. That's how it is when you is in puppy love. Maybe now that our peoples is back Sahara can come over and play again.

First snow for this winter

We can't believe it!! Yesterday me and Bugs E Doodle esq was running and playing at tha state park with our peoples and it was really warm. Today, it's snowing and cold!! What tha heck happened to fall! We isn't ready for no ole man winter and as much as we likes snow it's way to soon. Mommy was pretty sure we wouldn't have no snow cause Daddy boughted a snow blower, what ever that is. Me can't figger out why somebody would want to blow snow.......but there ya have it, Daddy has a snow blower.

We is getting a baby sitter for next weekend. Our peoples is going to Houston TX to visit Auntie Margaret and Uncle Bob for tha weekend and thems isn't taking us, which isn't fair if you ask me. Anyway, our baby sitter is someone who works with mommy and she, her husband and thems little boy is going to stay with me and Bugs for tha weekend. This should be berry interesing! Are we going to be good boys and do what our baby sitter says or are we going to do what we wants to do and be bad boys......more to come on this story.

Hi Ya'll

This chere is Bugs and I wanted to dispell ya'll of the myth that my big bubba Murphy has been posting on this chere blog. Bubba Murphy don't have no clue that I'm about to take control of this chere keyboard with my little paws but I am and it's about time too! Cause ya'll see it' like this chere, me being a good ole dog from Texas, I have to stand up for myself cause ya'll know that bubba Murphy has a way of spinning a yarn and making it sound for real.

Take for instance that there yarn he spun a while back about me stealing my ma's reading spectacles. He had ya'll believing that I was just pure d mean and I'm not like that at all. See this chere is what happened. Pops left some of that there US Mail on tha counter in tha kitchen and I could have sworn there was some up there address to me, Mr Bugs E Doodle esq. and well ya'll can look at this chere picture of me and see my eyes aint what they should be, what with them there droopy eye lids. So I did what any self respecting pup would do, I went looking for them reading spectacles that ma leaves setting around all of the time. I found them things in tha den and scooped them up in my mouth along with tha piece of US Mail I thought was address to me and took it on out tha dog door into tha back yard where there were plenty of sunlight. I tired to get them there glasses on my snout but every time I did them things dropped right to tha ground. Do ya'll know how hard it is to try to pick them things up when ya don't have opposing thumbs? Yeah, I know, I have dew claws but them things is useless as them can be. Do ya see, in my attempt to ready my US Mail, my mouth crunchd down on them there reading spectacles and well ya'll saw tha picture bubba Murphy posted......it wasn't pretty at tall, but it was an assident.

Then there was tha time I dragged that cushion from tha sitting parlor out into tha back yard. All I wanted was a nice comfy spot to snooze in tha sun but no, Murphy had to pull his big bubba act and try to be tha boss of me. See if he hadn't grabbed holt to that cushion and tried to get it away from me tha stuffings wouldn't have never come out of it. See ya'll bubba Murphy aint as innocent as he would like ya'll to believe. He just has a way of looking really worried all tha time and it fools Ma and Pops into thinking he's tha good son when really if he wouldn't try to be tha boss of me and take things away form me none of these here assidents would ever happen.

So I'm hopin this here explanation helps clear up tha air for ya'll. Next time Bubba Murphy posts something for tha who world to read about me and it makes me sound like I aint up to no good, think to yourselves, "Is this something that sweet little southern pup would do? Or is it really Murphy trying to be tha boss of him?"

It was a dark and windy night

We traded traffic noise at tha campground for the sound of high winds in tha comfort of out own home. What is up with that?? All night long it sounded like a hurricane or tornado was passing through, not that me actually knows what a hurricane or tornado sounds like. Me and Bugs was up all night checking to make sure tha house was safe cause it was really scary sounding. Mommy couldn't sleep either cause hers was worried a tree was going to fall on us. Now that me thinks about it, this wind reminded me of tha wind that came up when was camping at Wellington Lake and it blew tha tarp thingys on tha old house on wheels. That was really scary and last night was just like that. Me thinks it's time to go take a doggy nap.

Traveling Dogs

We is very lucky puppies!!! Our peoples has taken us all over tha place with them this summer. The reason me eben mentions this is because our little bully friend Baywee was complaining tha other day that her mommy went on some trips this summer and lefted her and her little brodder Frogknot at home. Baywee's mommie didn't think thems could behave. Me and Bugs don't always behave but me guesses that our mommie and daddy like having us with thems so much it don't matter.

We went camping again this weekend in our new house on wheels. Me was a little freaked out about the trip to tha camp site cause me could sense that Daddy was nerbous about driving the new house on wheels cause it is bigger than the old house on wheels. Let me show you tha difference. This summer we has been through 3 house on wheels. Tha first one was all packed up inside a box and had to be opened up and put together. It was really small inside and had hardly any room for us dogs. It's not tha bestest picture but you can see it was not berry big at all.

Then we gots tha next house on wheels. Me and Bugs thought we was in heaben with this one cause there was lots of places for us dogs to sleep and eberybody knows it's all about us puppies. You can see how much bigger tha outside is and inside was like being in a 5 star house on wheels for us puppies.

But Mommy and Daddy decided after a week of camping with us dogs, and for tha record we was only with them 3 days of that week, that tha house on wheels just wasn't big enough for all four of us. So when we came back from bacation thems started looking for a new house on wheels that was bigger and better. And ta da!!!!

We have a new house on wheels that's like a mansion inside!!! We tooked that new house on wheels camping to a new place this time. We wented to St Vrain State Park. It was a berry pretty park with a lake right outside our door. And there were trees across tha lake from us but we didn't have no trees.

What we did have was a bunch of noisy birds that fussed tha whole live long day and night!! AND on top of that we was near tha highway and it was busy all of tha time. Mommy didn't get no sleep cause it was so noisy with the highway sounds and them birds. Me thinks me told you before about tha bunk beds, well Mommy slepted on the one that was supposed to be mine cause hers and daddy snores and keeps each other awake so they slepted in to places. Me don't think her considers that thems snoring might keep me and Bugs awake and us having that bunk would have made all tha difference in tha world. Anyway eben though this place was pretty it was not a nice place cause of all tha noise so we packed up yesterday morning and came home.

.Me thought me was going to get to drive tha new house on wheels cause mommy was taking pictures of me sitting in tha drivers seat. Wouldn't that make you think it was going to be your turn to drive?? Nope, after thems got through taking tha pictures thems made me get in tha back. Thems said dogs can't drive. Well how do thems knows? Thems has neber give me a chance. Tha ride home was more relaxed cause daddy was relaxed at tha wheel so me could go to sleep on the sofa instead of trying to climb into mommy's lap like me did on the way to tha park. Me sure wishes me could relax like Bugs does on these trips, hims just goes right to sleep and leaves tha driving and that worrying to our peoples.

We is back from Mommy's birthday trip and boy did we have a really good time!!! We stayed at this really cool cabin in tha mountains of Southern Colorado. Remember me told you it was a dog friendly cabin, well it can't get much dog friendlier than this. This place was so friendly that me and Bugs just felt right at home and sacked out on tha couch to take a nap.

In fact that's pretty much all we did was nap on Friday afternoon. It's hard on dogs having to be good on a trip and it sure wore us out. A puppy can never get to much rest. You neber know when you is going to have to defend your peoples for wild critters.

Bugs got lots of rest too that first evening. Although some of it hims rest was on tha floor cause me didn't want to share tha couch all of tha times with hims.

The only thing wrong with this cabin was there was no soft place to sleep at night when Mommy and Daddy went to bed. You can see from this picture that the floors was hard and our little beds was at home. Me and Bugs fixed this cause we eased into tha bed with Mommy to sleep and her let us too but first she had to be sure we was going to be good and not growl at Daddy in tha morning. We promised to be really good if hers would let us sleep with her this one time.

On Saturday we got into tha car and drove around looking at all of tha things to see. We went one place back off of tha road and there was some cows. Bugs and me had never seen cows before and there was some staring start at us. Bugs didn't like thems to much and barked at them. Of course we was safe from them cause we was in that car and that made Bugs a lot braver than if hims had been outside with them ole cows. Me and Bugs was real disappointed we didn't see no bears or lions. We heard Mommy and Daddy talking about us not going outside at night without them cause we was in bear country and all kinds of critters showed up at night. We didn't even smell none although Bugs swore that's what hims sniffed on tha deck. Me is pretty sure it was them dogs that came and visited every day from the people who owned tha cabin.

This weekend we is going camping for probably tha last time this year and we is taking tha new house on wheels too!!! We can't wait cause that one does have a bed me and Bugs can sleep in together if me lets him.
