Treats

Can you believe it?? It's not snowing today. We, me and the Bugsadoodle, even got to go for a walk around tha lake. Mommy used this as a training opportunity for that little Bugs. See even though hims has been with us for two months now, the weather has not been good enough to work on hims training and walking on tha leash etiquette. So today hims got a lot of learning on how to walk like a good puppy on tha leash. It was really hard for Bugs to. There was a lot of distractions for that little puppy. Peoples was walking thems dogs and the little ones wanted to bark and growl at us. At first Bugs barked back but after awhile hims got the idea that it wasn't polite to bark at other dogs. Of cours me, the Murphster, was a very, very good dog and set a really good example for Bugs.

But now let me get the the really important stuff. Today Mommy and Daddy went shopping and bought us dogs some new dog treats. Thems bought us some beef jerky nuggets and boy is thems good stuff. Mommy said it was just as cheap to buy the jerky for us as it was to buy that ole ground meal treats. Me has to tell you, if you give me and Bugs a choice, we'd take the jerky any day. Of course we would never, ever turn down the ground meal dog treats either. No sense looking a gift treat in the mouth.

Anyway, there is a problem. See jerky is human food that Mommy thought to substitute for us dogs and since it's human food Daddy wants to eat it too. Hims thinks it would be a good snack for a Daddy..............NOT! This is for us puppies and we never, ever share our food with humans. That's their job, to share tha food with us. Me and Bugs is a teeny bit worried that Daddy might like our treats too much and eat them all and where would that leave us? Treatless is where.
