Our world is about to change!!

Mommy says me and Bugs E Doodle esq is about to have a great big change in our lives. Her says that if everything goes well, tomorrow evening we is going to have a new baby in tha house.

Hers is about to rescue a this little kitty. Hers is only 3 months old (the same age as when hers got me and Daddy got Bugs.) Mommy said this little girl, who is going to be named Miss Kali Lou, and her litter mates and parents was on the thems way to becoming test lab kitties in WY. The girl who rescued the kitty family drove from her home in Fort Collins CO to WY to save this kitty family. Miss Kali Lou has 4 brothers and mommy hopes thems finds good homes. Mommy said her would have take two of them, but hers was afraid it would have been way to much for Smoke.

This will be very interesting cause Bugs don't have no experience with kitties like me has. Sure we have Smoke but hims is 18 years old and says down in tha storage room or Daddy's office and is scared of us. Me had grew up with Miss Pitty Pat but it's been a year since me has had any kitty experiences either so me hopes me remembers how to act with a kitty, especially a little kitty. Me will keep you posted (arf arf arf me made a funny) on how this turns out.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERBODY!!!!!

Me and Bugs hopes everbody is enjoying them some turkey. We don't got no turkey at our house. Nope we is having duck instead of turkey this year. It smells really good too!!! We sure hopes Mommy don't forget to be thankful for us dogs and give us some of that good smelling duck.

Me and Bugs is really thankful today cause we have a really warm house, soft beds and lots of food to eat. We is also thankful for Mommy and Daddy. Thems is the bestest humans in tha world. Bugs is thankful that hims was adopted by them and me is thankful for that too. Monday is Bugs' "Gotcha Day". Hims has been living here with us for a whole year. Remember when Bugs was so little hims could stand underneath of me???


Well hims sure can't do that no more!!! That little puppy has grown and grown. Him and me is tha same size now only me is heavier than Bugs. Mommy's just thankful hims didn't take after the Great Dane side of hims family and get really, really big. Daddy says hims is just an average Dane.

So there are just some of tha things we is thankful for this weekend.

Our Peoples went to TX and left us with a dog sitter!

Yep, the humans tooked off to TX to see Auntie Margaret and Uncle Bob and lefted us at home with dog sitters. This wasn't really to bad cause me and Bugs got to stay in our own house and sleep in our own beds. The bestest part was we had some nice people who stayed with us and tooked berry good care of us. Mike even stayed with us some during tha day so we was hardly lonely at all, but we did miss our peoples a lot. Julia was great cause she was short and down to our level. We could get right in her face and give her kisses. We was good boys though cause thems knew our commands and would use them if we got to unruly. Julia even told Mommy what good boys we was and how well behaved we was. If we has to be lefted behind this is tha way to do it! No kennels or doggie hotels, nope just stay in tha comfort of our own house with all of our things is tha only way to go.

Thems even brought thems dog Sahara over to play with us! Sahara is BEAUTIFUL too!!! Me has decided that Sahara is me girlfriend cause me is the oldest dog and should have a girlfriend. Bugs is still a baby and don't know nothing about girls even though hims tried to steal her attention away for me. Anyway Sahara is an Austrailian Shepard and is marked kinda like Bugs, which is probably why hims thought she would be hims girlfriend. WRONG! The only problem is our sitters only broughted her over to play once and me wanted to see her every day after me met her. That's how it is when you is in puppy love. Maybe now that our peoples is back Sahara can come over and play again.
