Lair of the Bear

We gots to go on a big adventure this morning. Our peoples took us to the great new place called the Lair of the Bear, but we didn't see no bears. Mommy says hers thinks it's funny how me and Bugs knows when hers is even thinking about taking us for a ride. We just read her thoughts is all and we is going to be dang sure we isn't lefted behind even if it means "dogging" her ever step and racing from the front door to the door going into tha garage to be sure we isn't lefted behind.

Me thinks Mommy and Daddy was a little put out by our behaviour but thems has to understand there was all kinds of wonderous new smells to be smell all over tha place and we was so excited we couldn't help but pull. Daddy gets a little impatient with Bugs when hims pulls on tha leash. Hims forgets how bad me was at that age and how hard me used to pull. Bugs will learn how to behave. Mommy just talks to me really easy and me does me best to obey even though it's hard.

This is us w/Daddy on a deck built out over tha river. Mommy tied me up to the railing so hers could take our pictures cause hers thought it was really pretty there.

Anyway, we gots to this really neat park and walked along a path by a river and then crossed tha bridge over tha river. Once we gots on tha other side, Mommy and Daddy let us off of tha leashes and me and Bugs raced up and down the mountain trails. There was wonderful, wonderful smells in tha air and on tha ground. We had the bestest time. In fact Daddy says that maybe later in tha summer we can get up really early and pack a picnic breafast and go there for Sunday morning breakfast. Me and Bugs thinks this would be a wonderful idea.
