Did ya miss us???

This is us waiting for Mommy and Daddy to finish loading the house on wheels so we could leave for bacation

Me and Bugs has been on bacation with Mommy and Daddy. We went camping in tha house on wheels for 4 days with friends of our peoples. This is tha same peoples me went camping with last year but it was Bugs first time in a group camping trip. Hims was a really good puppy too cept when hims picked a fight with yours truly over hims food bowl. Mommy and Daddy wasn't to happy with us cause we was fighting right in tha middle of everybody. Thems seperated us and putted us on our seperate runs. Me was not happy about this either. That darn Bugs is always picking fights and pushing me to me limit and getting me into trouble.

We had lots of fun chasing these big ole black squirrels up tha trees and trying to catch little chipmunks. Them ole black squirrels was as big as cats and made chattering noises as thems runned up the trees. Me thinks thems was saying really ugly things to us.

One scary thing did happen while we was camping. It rained every night from Saturday thru Tuesday but that wasn't tha scary thing, cause me and Bugs is use to rain. Tha scary thing was tha really bad wind storm that suddenly came up early on Monday morning. When me says early me means about 4:oo am in tha morning. We was all sleeping in tha house on wheels and all of a sudden this sound like a really big train came roaring thru tha trees. Now me don't know what a train sounds like, but since that's what Mommy said it sounded like me can only go with what she says. Anyway, tha wind was blowing so hard that the tarps (which is scary enough when it's just a little windy) that was supposed to shelter from tha storm was flapping up and down really, really, really high!! It woke Mommy and Daddy up cause thems heard a really loud snap and then one of thems scary ole tarps was flapping on top of tha camper. Me and Bugs was really worried cause we didn't know if that ole tarp was going to eat tha house on wheels or not and if it did what would happen to us? When we finally gots up to go outside when it was day light we was happy to see that the only thing that was broked was thems nasty ole tarps.

On Tuesday our peoples tooked us to a doggy bed and breakfast to stay for the rest of tha week cause thems was going to a retreat and pets wasn't allowed. Me and Bugs had never been to a Doggy B & B before but this was a really swanky place for dogs. There was no runs or crates for us dogs, no sir!! We had our own loft room with a couch and a recliner chair and toys to play with and everything two dogs could possibly want. We got to have special cooked hamburger & rice and there was other dogs to play with. The peoples at tha B&B said me and Bugs was very well behaved and knew all our commands. Well of course we does, our peoples has been training s all of tha time. And the very bestest part was that Mommy and Daddy could pick us up on thems way home from the retreat instead of waiting to get us on Monday from the Vets kennel.

As much fun as we had for them 5 days, me and Bugs was sure glad when Mommy came to pick us up!! We gots home and climbeded into our favorite chairs and wented to sleep.

PS Bug's 1 year birthday is on Friday so everbody send him birthday wishes. Mommy will get hims cheeseburgers from McDonalds which means me will get cheeseburgers too.
